Tales From The Bridge: THE MISFIT
“Tales From The Bridge” is a short abstract film with no dialogue—an atmospheric drift between dream and memory, stillness and motion. Set against the surreal textures of Tokyo, it traces desire, dislocation, and the effortlessness of the protagonist, an outsider - THE MISFIT - played by IPPEI TANAKA- moving freely through a world built on control.
Conceived, directed, and creatively led by Boa Campbell, the film unfolds through the eyes of someone who moves between worlds—shaped by a hybrid sensibility that threads through every layer of production. From story concept and casting to cinematography (with key support from trusted ACs and fellow DOPs), photography, location sourcing, and production management, each element reflects a perspective forged at the intersection of cultures, rhythms, and emotional codes. Every visual decision—color, costume, texture, space—was made in close dialogue with the emotional undercurrent of the work.
Brought to life by a tight-knit Japanese and international team, the film reflects the raw intuition and deep craft of each collaborator. Special thanks to the cinematographers and creative partners whose instincts and artistry helped sharpen the world of the piece.
This marks the film’s first public release.

MR. NOUAR – DSCENE Magazine Digital Cover (Paris)
Mr Nouar cover shoot for Design Scene digital.
Before moving to Paris, I collaborated with entertainer and social media personality Mr. Nouar on a fashion editorial that was later selected as the July 2024 digital cover for DSCENE Magazine. The project was conceived as an expressive portrait series capturing Nouar’s charisma, humour, and creative energy through a cinematic visual language.

Shot in Paris, the imagery explores a balance between performance and authenticity, allowing Nouar’s vibrant personality to guide the narrative. Through dynamic styling, natural movement, and atmospheric lighting, the series aimed to create portraits that felt both intimate and visually bold.
The editorial was accompanied by an interview exploring Nouar’s journey from performing with Jamel Debbouze’s comedy troupe to building a global online audience with hundreds of millions of views across social media platforms.

Rishikesh, India
This and earlier chapters in India has taken me to the hills of the north a few times, including Manali, Kasol, Shimla and Kasauli. Rishikesh, although is just the beginning of the hills, came up as an opportunity recently to capture further travel images.
There was an indescribable intensity of spiritual energy in this place... There was of course the obvious visual forms such as Hindu temples, presence of many yoga and meditation teaching.. However, there was a very strong presence of varying energies from all sides of the spectrum which could only be felt.
Speaking personally, I found myself feeling a strong presence of the darker energies, in a crazy mix with everything in between.

VALHALLA editorial shot in TRØNDELAG, Norway
As I look back and recall all the commercial versus purely self-initiated creative shoots - this has to be among my favourite and epic to date. The story behind it and the images made possible because of it send me off into a dreamstate every time and makes me realise why I came into this industry.
The model seen here is Sandra M. (from Trend Models, Norway at the time)… We were struggling to find a model with the right look as it was all coming together at the last minute, so close to my date of departure from Norway. Maragareta, the stylist, suggested Sandra whom I hadn’t seen on the main board of Trend Models and I wondered “why wasn’t she there as option of intown talent?” Turns out she was actually in the Kids section and was only 12 years old at the time!
